About the Greater Green Bay Community Hub
The Hub, led by the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation in partnership with Brown County United Way, brings together impartial, independent local, state, and national data into one accessible, user-friendly location. This gives our community the tools we need to understand and address the factors that affect our collective quality of life.
Focused on measuring what matters in Brown County, this tool can help our community set goals and evaluate our progress. Organizations, schools, nonprofits, local agencies, and other community groups can share and use information to showcase the assets of life in Brown County as well as identify opportunities for improvement, with specific, data-driven resources.
The Hub is also home to the 2011, 2016 and 2021 LIFE (Leading Indicators for Excellence) studies. The LIFE Study is an assessment of the quality of life in Brown County based on research on 10 key indicators of community health. The continuation of the study allows us to evaluate the community over time from a variety of angles through both public perception and evidence-based research, then to align and allocate resources to better the community and achieve greater impact.
“LIFE Study results, integrated with the Hub’s powerful data platform, offer our most comprehensive overview of quality of life in Brown County as seen through the eyes of its residents,” said Dennis Buehler, President and CEO of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. “Our intent is to provide access to trusted data to help understand needs, shape solutions, and evaluate our progress.”
“We welcome and encourage community groups, schools, nonprofits, local agencies, chambers of commerce, and tourism, to engage with this resource,” said Robyn Davis, President and CEO of the Brown County United Way. “The evolving nature of this website allows users to contribute information, ideas, best practices, and resources.”
